Chhatrapati shivaji & their soldiers i.e. Mawale created Hindavi Swarajya i.e. Hindus Nation. with help of this sword. There are 2 parts of sword . 1- Muth - Handle 2- Pat - blade The blade has different names for different parts like Ani , Peepala , Dhor , Petha , Path , Nal Khajana , Dumala - depends on that there are different swords like Karnataki Dhop, Teg , Khanda , Irani , Turki etc. Similarly handle also have different names like Mogara , Ful , Kangani , Katori , Kanthi , Putala , Janeu, Paraj , Thola , Chauk & Nakh etc. Auranjebi Muth , Arabi , Garadi , Dungarpuri & udepuri etc. are different types of Handles. Sword always kept in sheath . The Sheath could be of cloth , leather wooden or metalic . The iron required for sword are of two types - Nirang & Sang . The technology of creating swords was advanced in India . The sword was tested once developed. Ang , Rup , Jati , Netra , Arishth , Bhumi , Dwani , & Man etc. are attributes of sword. Sword is usualy attacked at head , Cheast , Neck , waist , leg ear or shoulder etc. After using sword , it is important to keep it clean. The person who does this job is called Shikalgar. He does cleaning rust , brinking etc.
